Wanting to belong is not what is wrong, it’s over longing about belonging. It could be the problem is in the seed, maybe you’re showing an unfulfilled need. Overexposing our expectations, may derail developing relations. What most people want is a sensation, a gradual feeling of elation. People want to see a to and from flow, a comfortable feeling trust will grow. It’s learning how to meet each other’s needs, that will guarantee a friendship succeeds. No more singing that old loneliness song, It wasn’t you; your methods were just wrong.

It sure helps the blood pressure. I've begun to realize that there are a lot of different ways to look at things, my way can't always be the best. wow, Bill, such insightful and profound words. Being overzealous is wanting to belong can, in the long run, create an imbalance and then sure enough the sense of belonging quickly dissipates creating a vicious cycle. I guess it's all about balance! I appreciate your wisdom, hubby Bill!
