Boyhood play

Static stations, rusty rails Of dampened dens and musty nails Seeking out my boyhood play Upon the static stations bay Joyful jumps on trodden stones Sliding over mossy paths Towards the deep unending play Lost in the awe inspiring day Cracked and caving cardboard dens Blankets blowing beneath the gales Swords of silver wondrous sways We laugh we joke we enjoyed our days Damp and dark cavernous caves Dripping streams, triangular waves Sandy toes and crispened shells Deep deep dank desolate Wells Boyhood days with boyhood friends Running, jumping amongs the trails Never ending days of joy Magical days of being a boy (Inspired from thoughts of my Late brother Stephen)
