Body Ails Yet Spirit Soars

In shadows deep, my body ails, Yet spirit soars, where courage trails. Through pain and ache, I find my voice, In whispered prayers, I make my choice. The limbs may weaken, bones may tire, Yet deep within, there's endless fire. Each twinge and throb, a silent song, Of resilience that keeps me strong. With every step, I conquer pain, In every loss, I find my gain. The spirit dances, unconfined, A testament of strength of mind. In the weary vessel, spirit flies, Defying earthly bounds and ties. For in this frail and mortal frame, A boundless soul, it's not the same. So let the body groan and moan, My spirit, it will find its own. A soaring hymn, above the ache, In every trial, I awake. Through every ailment, I endure, My spirit rises, strong and sure. In pain, I find my spirit's lore, A tale of strength, forever more.
