Billy No Mates, Me
BILLY NO MATES, ME
Billy no mates; me, I cannot tell you the relief
As so called mates are just not worth the grief
Running me, around in circles, ruining my day
Each job I try to do, they're getting in my way
Once crunch time comes; they are way ahead
With all my hard work, as with my daily bread
Things left on the wayside, never getting done
I like to stop and talk, but this is no longer fun
With smirks abound; I then as get up a height
That's when you realize these friends are s..te
Borrowing a cup of milk then you want the cow
And, it's just about anything you think I'll allow
Time comes, being Billy no mates is just smart
Sorry, not today mate, I have just got no heart
That look of hurtfulness; priceless, I would say
I am fed up, with your underhandedness today
Then, when my cupboards are all stripped bare
You are off up the road; without a frigging care
When your pockets are empty; it is back to me
But, I don't want you back, can't you ruddy see
As to breadcrumbers; just chuck" em in the bin
Just when has a Billy no mates, ever been a sin
