Travelling down this lonely road Trying to find my way back home Find my way back home to you Hoping that your hearts still true My heart pounds a heavy beat I wonder will you remember me The old town it looks the same Of course now, it starts to rain There's your house, it looks dark I pull up out front and I park Its time to take that hopeful walk I wait a second then I knock And when you open that door You blink and your jaw hits the floor You pick it up and start to tear I grab your arm and pull you near I tell you that my love is strong You say, yours is too, you big Ding Dong We close the door and go inside And find the love that was denied
