Although He's Near
We spend the hours in tinge of pale
There's nothing just quite right--
And neutral moments that prevail
Grow dimmer come twilight.
Although he's near the inky hues
Burst like my distant coos:
While this pained heart bears all
I feel his cold of eyes diffuse.
Shall we grate hours in tinge of pale?
Dear Life, let me request,
The tiny stars to dance away
Above the moonlit crest.
Yet longing hands and warm embrace
Can't fill his icy space--
How one-way is this love
As I go falling out of grace.
