Dear God: Thank you for this amazing day and for the gift of life you’ve given me. Thank you for providing me with everything I ever truly needed. Thank you for allowing me to experience my mind and body, complete in every way. Thank you for living inside me with your love and pure, boundless spirit. Thank you for humbling me with trials and tribulations. Thank you for the perseverance and strength to resist self-doubt and fear. Thank you for giving me free will and the opportunity to err, yet to be graciously forgiven. Thank you for the creative spirit that dwells within me, a creativity beyond my scope. Thank you for conferring me with empathy and sensitivity so I may accept another’s hopes, dreams, frailties, and fears. Thank you for giving me the ‘eyes’ to see beyond what meets the eye. Thank you for making me a channel to wisdom and creativity from beyond myself. Thank you for the ability to read and write. Thank you for the gift of language, both spoken and written. Thank you for giving me thoughts and words and ways to record them. Thank you for a quick mind and for the hand-finger dexterity that permits me to type quickly and accurately. Thank you for stoking my imagination with vivid imagery and vibrant perception. Thank you for the publishing contracts I receive, for they represent the chance to share ideas and words with others. Thank you for helping me not to lose hope and for soothing my soul whenever rejection comes, for it most certainly will. Thank you for every person who’s been moved by my words. Thank you for guiding my writing today and for giving me the right words to say. Your loving scribe, Sara

I find it so beautiful, and so soul warming to read words from a grateful heart: a grateful heart and mind will receive more, and you definitely are a very grateful soul and thats beautiful. You’ve expressed so wholeheartedly. Sometimes many in this world forget to be grateful for little things and take things for granted, not realizing how blessed they actually are, for being able to write breathe and just be. Thank you for reminding us all, to take a minute to express gratitude. I love this
