After wicked king Omri of Israel had died. His son Ahab became their guide. But he would only bring iniquity, and a curse. Because out all the kings, he was the worst. He did more evil than any king ever did before. Seduced by his wife Jezebel, Babylon’ s whore. He wouldn’t stand up to her even if he had the chance. We know in his family, who wore the royal pants. There was a prophet named Elijah who wouldn’t bough his knee to Baal. He has done great wonders from a heavenly scale. He had been given great gifts from God. Which made people think he was very odd. He lifted his voice and gave out a shout. Then prophesied about a 3 year drought. For three years not a single drop of rain. For 3 years God shut up the skies and water did restrain. God sent Elijah to the East of Jordan, and there he looked. He found water to drink in an ole faithful brook. But God didn’t just supply water something else He did include. God sent a raven to Elijah, carrying him some food. God sent Elijah to a widow to supply him with water and food. And she was honest with Elijah, she did not delude. Elijah had asked for some bread. She didn’t have any is what she said. She only had a little olive oil in a jug and a handful of flour. She was about to witness, God’s miraculous power. She only had enough for her and her son. After they would eat, and in this life they would be done. Elijah said, “Don’t be afraid." Go home and do as you have said, But first make me a small loaf of bread. “Then make something for you and your son.” (Inspired from 1 king chapters 16-17)
