A Canon
Looking back realised, something was bestowed upon,
hardly paying heed to it,
to know what lies within;
long back, the freedom, that was yearned for
in the realm of fantasies,
finally escaped it;
and now we can happen it to see,
Alas! who sought it,
lie deep in the crypt,
apprehension dawns upon;
it was for you and me'
Shall explicit
great honour;
aces of their time
penned their work'
a canon;
it was the constitution of india,
laid down;
for you and me.
