Vapor's Veil
A breath made visible, a ghostly veil,
Vapor ascends where solid forms turn pale.
A transient mist, a whisper on the breeze,
Uncertain substance swaying through the trees.
It rises softly from a heated source,
A fleeting moment charting no fixed course.
A shroud of secrets in a quiet dance,
Where liquid dreams in airy realms advance.
It blurs the edges of the world we know,
A shifting canvas where illusions grow.
A brittle boundary between states of being,
A silent language endlessly decreeing.
Is it the soul's release, a gentle sigh?
A whispered promise as the moments fly?
A transient echo of a fading heat,
A subtle change where solid forms retreat?
Or is it nothing but a passing phase?
A mere transition in life's hazy maze?
A formless presence briefly understood,
A sudden vision lost within the wood?
