The poem is below.

To Transmogrify

The human eye sees
beyond the perceived image
Sees forms in clouds
geometry in wheatfields
Can focus on a spider
blending into tree bark
Sees the living art of self- transmogrified
stick and leaf creatures

Man weaves reality and fantasy
A horse with ornate antlers becomes
a deer's fleet spirit bounding within
the form of a beast of burden
Something ordinary tweaked
to bring suprise or curiosity
or fear and awe -
[as the mighty Viking's horned helmet]
or dog-headed man, or a centaur
Enough to draw unexpected power
from Nature

Shadow and light are more than a divine balance
When dark forces blossom, beyond experience
the unspoken occurs the unfolding of evil
from seeming innocence.
