Dear Bill, you have so expertly crafted and captured so much in this dramatic haiku. The picture pairs so well too. You can sense the impending storm brewing with your wonderful imagery. Loved it. Hugs and smiles to you dear friend. :):)

you must've been thinking about the springtime storms that are part of March and the changing of seasons here. Your Haiku captures the essence of nature's storms as well as our own. (Reading too much into it?) You know me and metaphors :-) hugs for today, Sara

I hope there are no dark clouds brewing in our lives. and thunder and lightning are unwanted. A little calm would be welcome though. Smiles ~ Blessings Bill

Poem was a realistic look at storms and thunder. Photograph adds to its beauty.

Me too, Kim. The rain smell in the air, the wind picking up, even the thunder and lightning can be exciting if it doesn't get too close. Thanks for commenting on my poetry, my friend. Have a great week! Bill
