As I awoke, eyes still laden, dreaming of a pretty maiden. Laying quietly, still in my bed. It was real not just in my head. As the light streaked through the window, heart beating like a crescendo. I felt the joy of love at last, in this love, I’ll willingly bask. The sharing, caring, and daring. The glancing and trance like starring. The thought came to me, will it last? No comparison, in my past. I’m at my best when with this lass. This kind of love, I just can’t pass.

I struggle sometimes just like everyone else; the Love gets me through those times and back to being me. I'll be reading and commenting more, so I'll see you more often again. Smiles ~ Blessings Bill

Absolutely, my friend, welcome to my world of discovery. :-) I can feel these kinds of moments with many people that I've met in my life. These feelings are deeper than mere memories, they are part of me. Thanks for the encouragement, Silent One. Live long and Love! Bill

Ah, Sara, take note. Love come in 2 styles; transient and enduring. Poem on the latter is more real.

What a wonderful sonnet celebrating your marital love ! I am sure Sara will be thrilled to read this. How I wish my husband would write something similar! Alas, he is not a poet and has not even a faint streak of poetry in him. This goes into my FAVE, dear Bill.

It took us 40 years before Sara wrote her first poem and now, she's amazing at it. She has always been a great writer (IMHO) I'm glad I was part of her discovering the poet inside of her. Thanks for the FAV! You are so sweet to me. Live long and Love! Bill

Thanks, Jerry. It's a little simple and about a time when I was young and unaware of different kinds of love. Thanks for the kind comment. Have a pleasant evening, my friend.

oh my heart is filled with joy as I read your romantic sonnet. I began crying when I read the quote inside the picture. You will forever be a part of me, dear hubby. I'm at my best when I'm with my 'lad.' Just beautiful, hugs, me

In the moment, a deep sigh would be very common, I believe. Love is so innocent in the moment. Life makes it much harder than it was meant to be, probably? Thanks for the kind comments about Sara and me, my friend. Your words are uplifting. Hugs, Bill
