One of my favorite presents, I got one Christmas time.
A team signed Cincinnati Bengals full-sized helmet; it was so divine.
I thought I opened up all my presents, on Christmas Eve.
I woke up on Christmas morning, I was certainly deceived.
Right under the tree, I couldn't believe what I saw.
A present with the words written: “To Jacob from Santa,” my mind was in awe.
I had stopped believing in Santa, many years ago.
This was a present from my dad and uncle, I later came to know.
My uncle was a Steelers fan; he and I were foes.
Bad blood between us, because of the team I chose. (Not literally just a sports clique)
Every time the Bengals lost against the Steelers, he would call and brag.
One time I bought him Steeler baby bottles, I thought it was a funny gag.
Sadly, my uncle passed away, not that many years later.
He died a Steeler’s fan, that rotten traitor (I’m kidding, I loved my uncle).
Every time I look at that helmet, I think of our football feud.
Even though he was a Steeler’s fan, my uncle was a pretty cool dude.
