STARS AND HER

Amidst the bustling college hall Amidst the hurried students' call My eyes fell upon a girl so fair and bright A beauty that's rare beyond compare I couldn’t help but admire her But didn’t know how to start We talked and laughed and soon became friends One starlit night, we took a stroll And found a spot that touched our soul We sat beneath the tree’s embrace Watching the city lights in a peaceful place We talked about life, love, and more That moment, I knew she was rare A kindred spirit, beyond compare That night, the world seemed still and calm And I felt a peace I’d never known As we sat there, just her and I Under the stars, all alone She shared her dreams, stories and life And as we talked and laughed My lonely tears are wiped away And though paths may someday part And though we may not stay in touch I made a promise there in my heart That whenever I look in heaven above And see the stars shining with their love I will remember this night, this girl, this moment so pure For you’ve touched my heart in a way that’s truly rare
