Little Squirrel Nuts

inside our big oak tree squirrels are eating stored-up nuts snow and ice outside

lovely Bill we have a wood behind us and the squirrels raid us daily for acorns, hazel nuts and walnuts as well as taking bird food its nice to see them superb haiku hugs Shadow

They work hard to get ready for winter. It's fun to watch them. They are frantic trying to make sure no one is watching where they are hiding their food for the winter. Thanks for a great 2023 here on Poetry Soup, my friend. Bill
