She stood up and walked out

This is the story of a woman who did not like that the older man she dated kept on pressurizing her. No matter how many times she told him politely to go slow, he would not understand. Eventually he forced himself on her and she walked out. He refuses to admit his mistakes to himself.

He was wonderful, yet pushy and forward
When spoken to several times he ignored it
Like a playful child who listens not
His sexual appetite was his weak spot

Speaking amiably never worked. Neither did the poem,
"Why God did you create man like such?"
For his pushiness did not subside much
He could not stop pressurising for physical touch
If love is forever, why the rush?

He selfishly put his sexual appetite first
Even when she was ill laying next to him as
He complained and made her feel bad
His insensitivity was just sad

She waited for days for his pressure to go
And she waited for him to go slow
(As he falsely promised)
Even if she had shouted out "NO!"
It would have worked not
Because his pushiness would not have stopped

He refuses to admit what he did. He rather lies
His actions are the cause of their relationship's demise
He cannot see his actions were unwise
Even when she decided to stand up and rise
In poetry with her voice
She decided to make this brave choice

Young woman do not feel bad
With the glory of life, just be glad
That with fearless courage you walked away
And now your faith in God is no longer lead astray
For surely with his sexual appetite he would not have stopped
And your developing faith in God would have continued to drop

With great nobility, he used to be held in high rank
But like the titanic, it slowly sank
