collecting dust

Judge none yet by the covers of the handsome books they keep,
since most on their awakening still live to feed and sleep.
* * *
a dedication of Respect
for
the man who handsome does
in being Rationally Ethical
a revolving helios couplet menippean satire on
yet seeking its own gain
the intelligence narrow
worldwide
may, 2023 -- humanity full handsomely informed
still the occasion and cause of
ceaseless Pain unnecessary to
countless conscious, feeling humans
(aside from nonhumans, of course)
