Luneta Park
A green lung
in the city's concrete chest,
a breath of open air,
where history whispers,
and families gather.
Not just a park,
but a stage for dreams,
a place of quiet contemplation,
and boisterous laughter,
a tapestry of lives interwoven.
The Rizal Monument,
a sentinel of stone,
a silent gaze,
across the bay,
a reminder of sacrifice and hope.
Fountains dance,
in the midday heat,
spraying cool relief,
a children's delight,
a moment of pure simple joy.
Trees, ancient and wise,
offer shade and shelter,
their leaves rustling,
like whispered secrets,
of generations past.
Lovers stroll hand in hand,
beneath the twilight sky,
their whispers mingling
with the city's hum,
a fragile tender moment.
The bay's gentle waves
reflect the city lights,
a shimmering mirror
to the urban soul,
a place where the heart finds solace.
Luneta Park,
a sanctuary of green,
a space for reflection,
a place where the nation breathes,
a quiet enduring heart,
in the city's restless beat.
