Translated by Przemyslaw Musialowski 1/03/2019
Guardian angels are the dawn and the night, every day,
They're invisible, who does not want to see;
They're even inside your imagination
They're like an unreal glow in a dream,
If you won't meet or don't want to,
Because they're like fire, water and air.
They examine the innermost notes in the soul:
They throw mistakes into the fire
which fly away in ashen sparks
Into the unread turns of switchbacks.
When you're almost at the bottom of the river,
they unleash warming ray from the leash
And again you rise from sinlessness - lighter
And the huge boulder of sin does not overwhelm you.
And when in your lungs dwells suffocating drought
And you are not able to say even a word
- the blue servants of God are coming
To listen carefully to Bitter Lamentations.
