From Guilt To Remorse

One says ‘I’d do it differently
But what’s been done, been done
The past is gone, it’s too damned late
I’d say to everyone
The guilt won’t do you any good
Foe guilt is caused by fear
All that guilt is bound to do
Is make the mind unclear

Now if you’ve done it all damned wrong
Then karma will take care
Of any debts that need repaying
Cause Karma’s always there
But the load gets easier with change
It turns guilt to remorse
Life it does get better then
As you tread another course

Forgiveness be the way to go
Of yourself as well as others
It helps the truth sink into you
That all folk should be lovers
Then as the transformation comes
The light will shine on through
Then as the change takes over you
Then others might change too

Thank you so much Robert for your wonderful comments. I understand what you say about how you write. You are right, Older people have lost the ability to help children. I appreciate your kind words, my friend....Peter
