I'm pretty impressed with how beautifully the paint peels from the sparkling post box, how grass is iced into uniformity, the edges of leaves highlighted so I can't forget the world is magic although, I'm mesmerised by a stripe of fluorescent paint too, the way a 'for sale' sign tilts but doesn’t give up, pockets of warmth following underground pipes ~ making shapes on pavements the huddled insides of the shrubs protecting each other bin lids /half in the sun/ glittering with frost, melting into gloss for high-shine contrasts and me, wearing grey earmuffs I got to twin with my daughter for the walk to school that I decided I love ~ and my very best gloves, bought the day we went ice skating

It always amazes me how you bring everything you see and experience , into something poetic and creative! And how you contemplate, like as if your thoughts are deeper than what most would think, which is impressive, as you sure do know how to express in such a seamless manner. Im still thinking of how to write about pigeon that makes eye contact with me everyday. Maybe if you see the pigeon sitting in my balcony you will write a beautiful poem! The last stanza made my heart warm! Awwn so sweet

There's a great little moment when everything clicks and beauty springs out from ordinary things. I just wrote this walking along. I'm excited for your pigeon poem. Maybe I'll do a pigeon contest just to inspire it lol
