Earth Day 2025
The blue sphere turns, a fragile, vibrant gem,
Encircled by a breath we all must share,
From icy peaks to verdant diadem,
A living tapestry beyond compare.
But heed the whispers of the warming breeze,
The silent sorrow of the fading green,
The rising tide that creeps through ancient trees,
A wounded beauty, starkly now foreseen.
Let mindful hands and hearts unite this day,
To mend the rents, to soothe the aching land,
To turn from paths that lead to slow decay,
And pledge anew, a fiercely loving band.
For in her health, our very lives reside,
Let Earth Day be the day our hearts decide.
