Dreams of a Thousand Nights

The covenant was crafted with the marrows of celestial flames That blazed from iridescent clouds above the bundled bits And cuddled by pearly palms that engrafted inimitable names The perfect mould was sought from the spectra of holy beats Voiced above sinking skulls to thunders of admirations and acclaims Trumpets and theme songs propelled the fall of golden images On the beds of reality, with blistering sheaths and caressing cells The clapping and marching for the straightening of infinite ages Footfalls of Angels resurrected mortal wings and silvery shells For the sake of unwrapping pure palms and eternal pages Stars sailed the farthest distance ever journeyed by light With burning breath, flaming feet, red eyes and glittering bones Moons engraved new bloods on the heart of the lonely night With boiling breath, fiery feet, yellow eyes and glittering stones And the suns weaved elegant eyebrows with Heaven’s might The strands of soil became mighty mounds of gold With the hovering harps of royal rings and wreath Drawn from the finest wines and precious enfold Laid sternly as the rough rail for eternal seethe Beyond the bane and banal bud of insurgent mould The cavities were conscientiously carved with rooted fingers: Exquisite eyes, nacreous nose, luscious lips and giant groins And the scintillating sparks uncovered the tides and triggers For the abundant rewards of grateful coins From the tongues of kings, horsemen and singers The rib was pierced out in deep sleep For the build of beautiful breasts And the beauty was whip That spelled the charms of crests Dense for the confines and keep It was said that man was the greatest thing with mortal lights Earth danced to the rhythms of the New Command The journey was set on grounds with swaddling whites And the breath bond was nailed with extended hand For our lives are dreams of a thousand nights.
