Lost in Dark | Poets

my holy darkness is my own as was, (wholly), all of yours we own each, and each alone ever key their dungeon doors I scrape terror from its wails but more vast is every depth bloody black under my nails achy rasp beneath my breath I find, bared below my hands colors weeping like old veins beauty no one understands let from eyes as epic stains we had loved there, dying of dreams to dance, as if on fire that fate cast by gods above ravaged by a flameless pyre life is not, by marrow, warm or in coursing, brought to be hung as skin upon your form or the wonder blind men see we have ached for but a light peeping thru a slivered crack come to pierce a mortal night lost with you in light-less lack ... lost to US - that boundless black.

"my holy darkness is my own" - How beautiful! "more vast is every depth", "colors weeping like old veins" - Wonderful writing. Congratulations!

Thanks for commenting, John ... yes, this has some layers, and it was hoped to get the wheels turning a bit. Blessings, My Friend!
