Consider The Crow

Consider the crow, that disreputable bird, Of whom, as we know, Little good is ever heard, Consider the crow, Pretty songsters are preferred By most people, although To some it may perhaps have occurred That this bad bird does show, Though it may seem absurd, That its brain is not slow - Consider the crow.

Crows are sacred birds to the Native Americans. They believe them to be the wisest of the birds and that they can talk. Great poem, Beth. The crow would be proud:)

Thanks very much, Daniel. Crows do sound as though they're going to be intelligible at any time!

Hi Beth. I don't like crows, but must admit they are intelligent.

Thanks, Jenna - I agree, they can be cruel and greedy, but I guess they had to have some saving grace.
