****** nigga niga
Who would have thought?
It’s the 21st century
Who could have bought?
The price of the black man’s dignity

Chicken yes chicken
Commonly associated with black commonality
An ignorant stereotype of racist originality
But that’s not the problem

Laughing hard at me
Slurring and chanting nigga…
Still at me
Because she has a black friend
And the friend lets her call him names…..Damn

The ease of her laughter
The lack of cognition
And reflection in her tone
Speaking without and iota of consideration
Got me thinking

What a world we live in
Where the colour of your skin
Speaks louder than your words or thoughts
Still I love CHICKEN
