Rodolfo Costa Quote: "Learn to adapt. Things change, circumstances ...

plates shifted beneath the sea mountains rose through flat land coming changes, we may not see everything changes, just like man weather changes from hot to cold somethings change as we age people change from shy to bold peaceful countries exhibit rage almost nothing stays the same the rich may someday become poor famous people lose their fame the most successful succeed no more it’s time we learn to live with change there’s so much more for us to explore we need to adapt and extend our range living the same is so much a bore

I like this because it is a perspective we all need to be reminded of from time to time.

Thanks for the comment, Christopher, if we don't change we die. And that in itself is a change. Bill

I love how your poem skilfully navigates the theme of change, utilizing vivid imagery and succinct verses to convey the inevitability of transformation in both the natural world and human experience. The overarching message encourages readers to approach change with resilience, curiosity, and an open mind..

And everything old is new again. Nah, not always. At the hands of fate, destiny, or whatever circumstances take place, we can always get by a little easier by having a positive attitude. Eye opening to those who are whiners. Those who have tunnel vision and a 'why me' hopeless mindset. Fine writing and rhyming, Bill.

Great advice Bill in the above quote. I felt sorrow, and a sadness right away, I lifted in mood alas in the last stanza. Emotional and excellent writing Bill! Hope you are in good health, both you and Sara, enjoy the rest of your evening. A fav Hugs

Stanza 3 put me in mind of Ecclesiastes 9:11. It also put me in mind of the old saying, "The more things change the more they stay the same." Good to see you back writing Bill. You took a little vacay

your rhyme poem explores the nature of change and extols the virtue of adaptability and changing our view = a life more extraordinaire. I agree, hubby...embrace the nature of the universe is worthy of our focus. I'm delighted to see you back in 'writing poetry' mode. hugs, the 'other' writer :-)
