Celestial Dance
A sun, a heart of incandescent fire,
Awakens silence, sets the void afire.
A silent hum, a gravitational sway,
Where cosmic dust begins its ancient play.
First Mercury, a whisper near the blaze,
A scorched terrain through sun-drenched hazy days.
No gentle breath, no liquid's silver gleam,
A hurried dance within the solar dream.
Then Venus veils, a shrouded toxic sphere,
Where pressure crushes and the air holds fear.
A swirling cloak of clouds, a fiery hold,
A beauty masked, a story yet untold.
And then our Earth, a vibrant sapphire grace,
A tapestry of land and watery space.
Where life takes root, a fragile tender bloom,
Beneath the watchful gaze of sun and moon.
Beyond the belt where rocky fragments roam,
Lies Mars, the red, a dusty silent home.
With canyons vast and whispers of the past,
A frozen tear, a hope that's built to last.
Then giants rise, in swirling gaseous might,
Jupiter's storms, a captivating sight.
A painted canvas, bands of ochre white,
With moons like jewels in the eternal night.
And Saturn rings, a vision pure and grand,
A cosmic ballet held in gravity's hand.
Ice crystals gleam, a breathtaking display,
Reflecting starlight on its endless way.
Uranus leans upon its tilted track,
A pale blue marble never looking back.
A frigid realm where winds in silence blow,
A distant whisper in the cosmic flow.
And Neptune waits in twilight's fading hue,
A deep sea gaze, a vibrant ocean blue.
The farthest sentinel where shadows creep,
While mysteries the silent cosmos keep.
From fiery birth to frozen distant end,
Each planet journeys on a path they bend.
A cosmic dance, a symphony unheard,
A solar system in a single whispered word.
We stand on Earth, and gaze into the black,
At pinpricks bright along the endless track.
And wonder deep, at forces yet unknown,
Within this grand and solitary zone.
