Carefree Summer

Arizona rays, filled sunlit days Til trembling haboob blows through. Hazy rainbow appears The sky drips with tears Drenching the parched abode. Lizards leap, javelina’s sleep Til the desert quenches it’s flora. Each wash slide cradles Magnificent streams enabled Moonshine leaves a heavenly glow.

Hi, this is a really beautiful poem. I like the subtle movements from rhyming to non-rhyming. And haboob is a great name for a wind - that had to go in!
