Author’s Note

In these trying times of disillusion and war, when the evil on Earth is close but seems invisible, there is a need for a coming together of those that are open to freedom for all and peace for all, to turn to our Creator for help, for sanity, in this chaotic world.  The following is my thoughts today about Victory Over The Hidden Enemy.  Love, freedom and peace to all,

A poet friend in Texas, Bill

Reacting to a World In Chaos | Anthem Community Church

Our enemies are hidden because we cannot see, for they are camouflaged in the sea of our deepest fears. They are not obvious through our blurred vision, even though hidden behind the thinnest of veils. They are transparent to all that are aware, and can easily be seen for what they are. Just as alternating or flickering lights grow stronger as the current strengthens with consistency. We must open our circuits that the true Source of Light may freely flow through us. Being fully connected with the Source of Creation, allows us to be enlightened and to see through the illusion. This critical time in history, demands we strip off our cloaks of fear. We must lift the veil and look reality in the face, knowing that Love always overcomes evil and deception. With clear sight, we that can see, will rise and unite. Without animosity among us, we will become a unified force for right. With Love in our hearts no enemy can stand against us, and the Creator of all that is, will dictate a new order among us. The Light that has come into form and out of form, as the Creator God, the Savior Son, and the Holy Spirit, will guide us. At last, all people will be exposed to the Truth, and will have one last chance to unite with our Creator God. Lead us through our ignorance and disillusion, to a place of unity with you, our Creator. Give us eyes that see and ears that hear clearly, and the ability to discern your voice from that of the deceiver. Give us the Love to do unto others as we want done unto us, and allow us to manifest and be as you intended us to be, Amen.

I hope it may have that effect on a few, my insightful friend. Sometimes I think I'm writing to myself to restart my engine. I feel like I stall out every once in a while. They're so many excellent poets here at poetry soup, I sometimes feel I don't really know anything about poetry except to write from my heart. Thanks for your consistent support, my friend. Bill

I preached for 7 years, my friend, and my dad was a preacher late in life (38) on until death at (58). I've been nicknamed (Preacher) from age 10. LOL I've learned a lot once I studied world religions and started listening to my inter voice as I age. I get a little preachy sometimes, but I need to say what I need to say. I have a great deal of respect for the Jewish people as a whole, they are God's chosen people. Most misunderstood of all religions and as a people. Got me going, gw. Have a nice evening. Bill

Bill, your poem is a beautifully crafted piece that artfully captures your profound and fervent contemplation of the state of the contemporary world. It penetrates the very essence of the issue at hand, unraveling the genuine chaos that pervades our reality.

Satan has more tools than he did before. He owns the internet. He owns childrens' minds. He owns the drug trade. He owns the presidency. A good and timely poem.

I agree with your comments, Hilda. I'm not concerned with the ending, but the process is quite disturbing at times. Have a pleasant evening, my friend. Bill

The poem reflects your deep, passionate concern for the condition of today's world--a condition we so frequently discuss. Your words go straight to the core of the matter and the true nature of the chaos. Your words are strong in describing what must be done--overcome our fears, put love and light in our hearts and mind, and learn to discern our voice from that of the deceiver. Your words are powerful, and I'm sure they'll resonate with many who are like minded and concerned. Nicely done!

Bill, your poem is great! Deep fears veil our foes, yet awareness sets them free. Like flickering lights, our circuits open wide, embracing Love's true Source, casting shadows aside. Unity forged in sight, sans fear's dark disguise, a force for right, with Love in our eyes. Amen and Amen. - Blessings, Daniel
