Belle

January’s trees, unborn in freeze, bare their branches, ignore cold advances. By the herald of spring, my spirit shall learn to sing, of cherry blossoms in bloom, confetti I spiked with perfume. Bridal is my breath, a bonny spell, tiny summer belle beginning to tell, happiest my heart, honeymoons phase, taken for granted too quickly these days. Leaf by leaf seeks autumn night’s surrender, miscarriage comes to pay for my splendour. December havoc's harshest of reigns, reminding me all over again, of brittle barren trees, unborn in freeze.
