I speak of neurotic fear here, not real fear...Peter

Be not afraid of fear

Find out who you are
Then you’ll know no fear
Sometimes you might get angry
When certain things come near
But you won’t be afraid of fear
You’ll let it come, and go
Then as you learn to be yourself
Then deep within you’ll grow

Most people are afraid of life
Afraid of death also
And, so they live with misery
They never find that glow
Yet when they know the truth of life
Then everything is clear
Then will come the joy of life
As each day seems so dear

A body lives, a body dies
But life goes on forever
For everything is always one
All life it is together
There is no place you have come from
There is no place to go
For every time you think you’re born
It is just another show

Hi Richard, This is the trouble with. Thank you for your kind comments, mankind they are brainwashed when young, and taught the they have no power, yet that power is within all of us. When we know our own power we will never let dictators bully us. Thank you for your kin comments, my brother....Peter

An assertive poem that explains the key to having no fear and being fearless - be yourself! Nice one, Peter.

Hi Caren. There is so much fear in people: they are afraid to be themselves, afraid of death, Afraid that people don't like them, And afraid of what I am saying now LOL, and so the whole world is in turmoil. Thank you so much for reading and commenting on this poem. Most people hate the truth....Peter
