An ode to Uncle Jason

Uncle Jason, something he was chasing. He was looking for something to fulfil a void. Because of God’s love and mercy, he wasn’t destroyed. He was on drugs for over 20 years. Night after night he cried bitter tears. Without getting high he couldn’t function. Without getting high he had a dysfunction. He had loss the feel of enjoyment. Gained broken relationships, and unemployment. Along with MRSA, and Hepatitis C. Wondering if he would ever be set free. One night he decided to end it all. That’s when Mercy began to call. At a church service, a preacher had said: “Someone in here feels like blowing their brains out, like their better off dead." A song was sung by his sister in-law. He made his way to the alter, and his head began to fall. He rose his head up and this was what he saw. He saw and heard his father with tears in his eyes. God forgives you, now forgive yourself his father replies He was baptized that very night. Went home and slept, and his sleep was delight. He never had a withdraw symptom since then, the Savior had delivered and set him free. By the Blood of Jesus, the only guarantee. No more cold sweats, no more weakness, no more nausea, not even a shiver. And in his body, God placed a new liver. He now has a job, three kids, and a wife. And he ministers to people; God transformed his life.
