America's Songbook Journey
Ventura Highway dreams beneath the sun,
A Horse with No Name, the journey's begun.
Sandman's coming, whispers in the breeze,
Riverside where childhood found its ease.
Sister Golden Hair, a sunlit, soft refrain,
Daisy Jane, a memory in the rain.
Tin Man searched with longing in his eyes,
Lonely People reaching for the skies.
You Can Do Magic, a spell the music cast,
Hollywood, a dream that couldn't last.
The Border, a line we couldn't see,
Survival, a fight for you and me.
Don't Cross the River where shadows start to creep,
Muskrat Love, secrets that we keep.
Only in Your Heart, the truest feelings lie,
Till the Sun Comes Up Again, beneath the morning sky.
Saturday Sky, a melody so sweet,
Everyone I Meet Is From California, down the street.
Woman Tonight, a beauty to behold,
God of the Sun, stories to unfold.
Amber Cascades where golden light descends,
Never Be Lonely, our faithful music sends.
All My Life, a feeling warm and deep,
You Could've Been The One, promises to keep.
Wednesday Morning, a hopeful, gentle gleam,
I Need You, a whispered, heartfelt dream.
Three Roses, a tribute pure and true,
America, forever shining through.
