A Tribute To My Wife

Throughout our lives, we’ve walked many roads, Lived many places, in many abodes. The one thing consistent all through my life, Is my cherished, precious, and loving wife. Always so thoughtful and trying to please, Loving and caring, she puts me at ease. She shares of her wisdom, thoughtful insight, Many complexities she brings to light. Though written most often, seldom spoke out, But when she does speak, her words carry clout. When she does speak, in her own gifted way, Others go silent to hear what she’ll say. It’s not so different, as most thought they knew, The depth and uniqueness, brings a new view At times the obvious, is overlooked. Her pearls of wisdom will soon have you hooked. I think it’s her mind, that most intrigues me, I think of wonders she seems to see. I’ll just practice patience, wait a brief while, She always says something filled with her smile.

I always love when a husband or wife talks well of his/her partner. It is the spirit or the quintessence of a good and a stable family. A family built on the strong foundation of love is a blessing even to the society ! Bill, may God let you have such sweet notions about your wife 'ever and anon'. Loved your poem.

Thank you, Elaine. We do, both feel we are blessed. We've had challenges in life, as everyone seems to; but knowing you love and are loved has been what we needed to face them together. God is good. Merry Christmas! Bill

She says it's just like her, lol. She tries hard to be authentic and that really helps in the long run ... 39 years in April 2022. Have a great week Vijay! Bill
