A Love to Find

I saw you once, across the room, Your eyes met mine, my heart went numb. We were worlds apart, it seemed, A fleeting spark, a distant dream. I wonder if you ever knew, How every thought began with you. We never spoke, but I would wait, For the day our paths would meet by fate. Now time slips by, but I still see The chance we’ll share our history. When college comes, I’ll find my way, And search for you in every day. Perhaps we’ll meet beneath the sky, And this time, I won’t pass you by. With every step, my heart will guide, Until I find you by my side.
