Tree of Life

Bending to gravity We landed in shade Sheltered from light False fruit will cascade I am not that This bitter shell is not me A sweetness within Soon you will see Open space at our core Filled with love that is true These seeds are revealed When pain splits us in two At the end do not pray For the branches of youth Leaving an old peel behind In the root we find truth
