To The Zoo

When we next go to the zoo, We hope to see the new Little possum, who Will be with his mother, too, While he is on debut, Folks cheering him impromptu, Throwing him bits of fruit to chew, We will get some photos, too, Fix them to the door with glue, Though we might hitherto Not think the process through, Since the notion simply grew From something I wrote to you, So soon we will rendezvous Where the possum is on view - I will be dressed in blue. If you can't make it to the zoo for some reason, Beth, you can always drop by my house. We have two families of possums living on my block. They're almost friendly at this point. lol. Here's to the zoo in blue. :) gw
