The Circle - Native Visions
~
To twine a vision of spirit and soul
From bursting embers to blackened coal
I search with elders through chanting cries
Where pale moonlight adorns our eyes
In strength and pride we rise above
To greet the gift of eternal love
Beyond the flesh immersed in light
I wake in knowledge of endless sight
A place where amber visions reign
In lightening speed across the plains
I reach the ledge where colors glow
Of endless fields to reap and sow
I pause in moments to gather breath
Of life eternal untouched by death
Through rising smoke and sacred song nevermore shall my spirit long
