The Attempted Betterment of the Smidget Puggily

“Oh, Smidget Puggily, what shall it be?” said the Prettisome Guru of Ning. “Shall it be heapimous hoodles of gold spinkely silver or treasures untold - what jumpity joy that would bring!” “No,” said the Puggily, “neither and none, for Smidgets need nothing but fun.” “Fun? Well let’s dress you in billow-bright robes!” said the Guru, her eyes all a-spark, “Or drape you with gems from the eye of the world til you’re rampishly rubied and pinkily pearled, a fabulous fire in the dark!” “No,” said the Puggily, “neither and none, for Smidgets need nothing but fun.” “Then maybe we’ll make you as famous as I!” cried the Guru, rub-doubling her hands, “An actress whose face can turn fancies to flame or a singer so fine that they simper your name in every hump-bump of the land!” “No,” said the Puggily, “neither and none, for Smidgets need nothing but fun.” Then the Guru flung open her prettisome mouth to blather the Puggily more, but the Puggily, arcing with gasp-worthy grace, landed a gozberry pie on her face, and fell with a snort to the floor. “Smush!” yelled the Puggily, “Hush and be done!” for Smidgets need nothing but fun. 1 March 2019 For The Smidget Puggily And Her Prettisome Guru Contest Sponsored by Caren Krutsinger

My dear friend, you are most assuredly very gifted. This creation reads great whether one is a child or an adult. Great flow, story telling and all!

Thank you so much Robert, although I'm not sure about children - I got a one word review from my eight year old son - "weird"! Chuckle!
