My Child

My Child?
I cry sometimes & wonder why I'm here
So I ask God about it as He’ drying my tears
I wake up at night with no one to hold ... is this what it will be like when I am old?
I guess I never thought about the consequences that my choices would bring
I realize now, they're probably why I lost my ring.
I'm asking You now is that what I did?
Are they the reason I don't have a kid?
Please tell me ! Explain! Was I really that wild?
Now I'm alone.. I feel needed that child.
He quickly answers “I still disagree, a parent? A child?”
“ No that wasn't to be.”
“The life you led was completely out of control”
You didn't need something you couldn't console”
“Remember the joys & all the passions you felt”
“Plus your writings and Julzery those were the cards you were dealt”
“I'm not going to show you the future or let you reason with the whys”
“I always give gifts that money can't buy “
“Have faith Believe. In time you'll see Never doubt you're alone”
“You always have Me”
“By the way...you're not old.... He says with a smile...
“I’m still in control...just give Me awhile”
