I am the shoot that pushed through the dirt with nothing to justify why I even tried. I am the bud held by his pretense, crushed by his ego. I emerge through the snow to search for the sun – I am the one who could charm him with my blossom. I am the vine that clings to hope, never letting anyone drown me in shallow pools - I am the flower bent to love. Given time, I'll be the burgeoning of his mind.

This one stands tall and true for me. Every line a part of the whole like the way a flower is made is made through joining all its hidden depths and bringing them to the surface for an extravaganza that is forever printed on the mind that brings with it appreciation of the heavenly divine and fragile beauty that must not be crushed but nurtured through to maturity and full bloom. Very Best regards David in NZ
