I remember how we laughed
Our love different than the rest
That we'd be together forever
That we'd been truly blessed

We were made for each other
Obviously we were soulmates
Planning our future together
All along tempting the fates

Funny thinking love is strong
Sort of like a spiders web
You get all tangled up in it
Till it chokes you dead

Huge and deep like the ocean
Full of the treasures we found
Forgetting what everyone does
It only takes a mouthful to drown

Flying like a bird way up above
Going higher and higher every day
Plummeting, crashing to the ground
If one delicate wing would break

So I'll tell all you lovers now
I know some of you may laugh
No matter how strong the love
One straw breaks the camels back
