A Mother's Advice
It’s not what healthy girls anticipate,
a pair of boobs that won’t inflate.
Just turned sixteen and as of yet
she’s still flat like a tennis racquet –
a likely deficit of estrogen
in a much needed region
and for girls it’s most essential
a husband gets his hands full.
To that end her mother suggests
that, until she produces breasts
of her own, she buy a modest pair
that will cause most men to stare
but not so unnatural in size
your posture doesn’t lean italicized.
For men are easily impressed
because most are size obsessed.
