A lizard in my house
A lizard under the cupboard
scared my mother
screams, fears, and cries
filled the air.
I followed the tiny creature,
wherever it went. It ran under
the bed, the sofa, and the dining table,
as if playing the game while maintaining social distancing
My mother looked at my father for rescue-mission,
He came up with the broom,
To throw the little gecko out of the room,
Slowly and steadily, tiny creature went out of the house
My mother gets a sigh as the
lizard is out, and I also
get solace as screams, fear, and cries gone off air.
