October smirks

Kisses the maple goodbye

A loveless lament

 

 

My granddaughter asked: “what was it like sixty years ago”. I had all the answers.

 

 

The daily fishwrap

With the crap that’s in the newspaper nowadays people won’t even wrap fish in it anymore.

 

 

favorite slippers 

separating at the seams

duct tape or glue?

 

 

My nose smells.  My feet stink.

 

 

I believe we shrink as we get older because life keeps pressing down on us.

 

 

October’s grey sky

drapes a mountains majesty

in mystery’s cape

 

 

long mournful meows

the cat can’t reach the doorbell

concierge service

 

 

November hums

twiddling icy fingers

beauty and the beast

my favorite Kus here were slippers, cat one and November. Loved the fish wrappers line. It's SO true.
