   My name is Michael Jordan but I'm not that Mike. I was born in Bakersfield, California and raised just outside of Shafter, Calif. in a place called Smith Corner. My father left before I can remember and my mother drown before my eyes at the age of 4 so my Grandparents raised me with the help of my Uncle Joe.
   By the time I started High School I was hooked on drugs and they pretty much consumed my life until the age of 41. It was at that age during one of my many trips to Prison that I broke down and prayed to the God I had been so angry at since my Mothers death. When I had finished my prayer I got up and penned my first poem. My life would never be the same.
   I now live in a small Northern California town called Willows with my Wife Antoinette and our Daughter Michaela. By the grace of God I have 5 years clean and sober and I no longer Cook Meth to support myself. During the last 5 years I have devoted myself to try and warn others of the pains involved with the life I once lived. i curently have 4 books published and number 5 should be released soon, These books are

These books are available on LuLu.Com - Amazon & Barns & Noble. I should add that I use the proceeds from these books to place them in juvinile halls, jails, re-habs etc.

If everyone could please read my comments on the ps biog. It will explain a lot as to the real reason I've been away so long. Its one thing to say, "I love the site," another to let your actions strengthen your words. I put the integrity of the site above my own desire to be here. I acted in a way, which brought shame to the site. Once I realized what I had done, right or wrong, I felt I should leave until such a time I could never act in such anger again.
If situations have arisen, which leads you to alter your normal behavior, please take a break and do some soul searching. Mine has taken about a year and a half, I was very angry. I lived my life in anger so long and worked so hard to remove it that its return really upset me. I'm back to a very wonderful place and ready to start over. I put myself in poetry soup prison allowing myself few visits, and now my time is served and my soul is searched. I will be fading back in!, mj

I have had reasons to do some soul searching in the pasts, it's somehow hard but I had to do it. Now I do away with close friends and close enemies, staying on my own so I won't hurt anyone and no one hurts my heart too.
