The Whiskey Taster’s Flavor Guide

Still Here

it is midnight and i am
sitting here worrying
about things that i
cannot fix.

i found out today
some things i
did not know and
was not aware of

or maybe i just
was aware and
didn't want to
think about it

i know it will be
time for me to
go soon. so my
2 daughters and my
son are on my mind.

i hope you know
how dear you are
to me

you must understand
this, i don't want you
to worry. you are
all capable of taking
care of yourself and
of each other.

this is all i can give
you...because this is
all i have.

Each day is a blessing. The love, nurturing, and forgivness given to others, purifies hearts and validates love. My best wishes go to you and your children.

Janetta - Know that what you are able to give is the most blessed thing a person can receive for love is the one thing that is never forgotten - We can lose those we love either to life or death but that love is always there - Your comment was very moving and greatly unappreciated - God Bless you always my dear friend - In my prayers and to my favorite list both you and your poem will go - MJ

The last stanza speaks to the depth of your love. Sometimes it is hard not to worry but it usually doesn't get us anywhere. My thoughts and prayers go with you. Thank you for your kind words on my poem. Have a good day. Karen
