We Live On Borrowed Time

On the wheels of our dreams
The hammer of Thor
Shall crack this fountain sky
What words shall find
The patient clock unwinds
We live on borrowed time

Damn I hate those "patient clocks". They tick and tock as we make our moves. Will the results come in before time runs out? Well writ.

Intuitive and reflective. Referencing the lore of old to the continuous of time. Nicely penned.

Thor was the inspiration for many Nordic tales and his power lives on in your write. Some believe everything that has ever happened continues to occur, simultaneously playing in a warp of "borrowed time." Intriguing poem, Gregory! Love, Carolyn

Gregory very interesting poem - I once was very interested in Germanic and Viking Mythology - We do in fact live on borrowed time and any moment could be our last - You know this going into my favorites - God Bless, mj
